Big News!

Exciting news for the blog...

It seems a long time ago that I started this blog back in 2020 to write down some of the things I was reading and thinking about on my Christian journey. Looking back, the start of this blog actually coincides with about the time that Jesus truly became Lord of my life, and I had a lot on my mind!

Writing things down has helped me to process the information I was taking on board as an unquenchable appetite for reading the Bible and other Christian literature overtook me, but since then, I have been writing a little less often and on topics that I thought were important not just to me, but to others.

If you have followed me on this journey, firstly, thank you so much. I have had such encouraging feedback on so many of my blogs, and a fair number of views too! Some have had several hundred views, and I think one has had just two (and those are probably just me clicking on the post!) and that's amazing; if even one person is reading and might be touched by the love of God, it’s all worth it.

So, what next?

Well for a while now I have been working hard and working out the logistics and technicalities, but in the coming weeks More Like Christ is getting a YouTube channel! I’ll be posting videos and also using the audio to post to podcasting platforms. I will be focussing on looking at questions and queries from real people and applying a Christian lens to these questions. There is a new ‘Questions’ section on my website specifically so you can do this, and so please, I encourage you if you have questions, comments, criticisms, things about Christianity that you don't understand or disagree with, I want to hear from you. Use this link if you need: https://www.morelikechrist.co.uk/contact-10

Once I'm up and running, I'll be aiming to post two videos a month as I balance work, Seminary and the early months of fatherhood! The website will be getting a little spruce, and the picture on this post is a little preview of the new look! Huge thanks to a great friend, Clau, for helping with branding and critiquing ideas.

I am super excited to start this project, I believe God has led me this far and has asked that this is my next step. I have no idea where it will lead but I’m being faithful to step out.

I will reiterate my objective: I want to help people to use the Bible for everyday life; it's joys, it's challenges, it's problems and pains, all the while trying to become an ever improving disciple of Jesus.

Thanks for following my journey, I hope you will go with me to youtube!
